Information

The Brisbane Tramway Museum originally opened in 1968 at the Lanita Street site. A more suit site was required and the Brisbane City Council provided this site, a former Sanitation Depot, in 1972. In a short period before the Council offer, the trams were temporarily moved to the former site of Shannon’s Tiles Factory.
