Information

Important Aboriginal Camp, base Camp of the Brookfield area. It marked the headwaters of Moggill Creek and may have had spiritual significance for that reason. 100 Aboriginals Camped here in the 1850s-1860s. Dundalli, the Aboriginal resistance leader, is said to have stayed at this Camp during the early 1850s, chasing Mr Pacey one night. Mr Pacey was saved from a confrontation by his bulldog.
