Information

Camp Manly was the informal name of the holiday camping area in Lota in the original estate of William Duckett White’s Lota House (1863). The southern area of Manly became a seaside resort with, first, regular streamer runs between Brisbane Town and Manly, and then in 1889 the railway link to Wynnum-Manly.
