Information

The first ferry to Toowong was established from Hill End in 1876. It landed at Toowong close to where the Regatta Hotel is situated on Coronation Drive. It allowed residents from Hill End to shop at the growing village of Toowong or meet the train and travel to Ipswich and beyond.
