Information

The main Aboriginal Camp of Sandgate, photographed several times during the 1880s-1890s. This was closest to the Native Police Barracks and was presumably also used by relatives of Native Troopers during that time (1859-1865) as the continuation of Camps in the vicinity is referred to in early accounts.
