Information

This community hall, owned by coachbuilder Walter Ison of Bulimba, was constructed using timber from the demolished Colmslie House and opened in 1923. For the next two decades this hall was used by a number of organisations, including the Scouts, Juvenile Oddfellows, Morningside Athletic Club, and the Labor Party, and also as a polling place in elections. It was destroyed by a fire in August 1944. Note: The location is an approximation.
