Information

Jones’ warehouse-for-lease ‘ was built in 1890-92, Architect: F.D.G. Stanley. Constructed as an invetment property, it was a riverside warehouse. It suffered from the 1890 Flood and it subsequently remained unoccupied during the 1890s Depression. Ironmonger and coachbuilder leased it as a warehouse from c1900 until he built his own warehouse ‘Spencer Chambers’ next door in the 1920s.
