Information

Built 1936. Returned Soldiers and Sailors Imperial League of Australia (R.S.S.I.L.A.) established its Queensland Branch in 1917. Manly Progress Hall opened on 5 June 1936. Manly-Lota Sub-Branch was established on 26 September 1936 and met at the the Hall until 1940. In World War II, the Hall was used by Home Front charities. The Sub-Branch acquired the Hall in 1952. It was renamed Manly-Lota Memorial Hall.
