Information

Built 1909. Manly citizens lobbied for a school from 1907. Despite objections from (1897) Wynum South School, state approval was granted. Manly State School opened on 4 July 1910, with 100 pupils. Another 200 enrolments saw a second classroom built in 1914. As it has grown, it has gained additional buildings culminating in 2009 with major School Centenary works.
