Moon’s Building was built in 1900, Architects: Addison & Corrie. In 1925, funeral directors Canon & Cripps and electrical merchants John Chandler leased ground floor space. In 1931, Chandler established Brisbane first commercial radio station 4BC on the second floor. Canon & Cripps left in 1969. This property soon was known as the Chandlers Building, as it held Chandlers (first) City electrical store.
