Information

The station was constructed in 1915 as a small police post, with a house, to serve the farming community of Moorooka/Rocklea. The police station has been elaarged and altered over the last 100 years to meet the needs of an enlarged police presence, particuarly after the district was gradually urbanised from WWII onwards. But the exterior fabric still illustrates the shape of an early twentieth century, country police station.
