The Norman Park Picture Theatre was an open-air theatre that opened in February 1920 to service the growing local population. Located near the railway station, patrons were probably distracted by the noise from passing locomotives. Nevertheless, the theatre survived until the mid-1950s.

Daily Standard, 7 February 1920.
