Information

Originally the business was M. Carver & Co was established in 1878 in High Street Toowong. They operated as General Drapers and Milliners as well as stationers and dressmakers. The business was run by Miss Carver and later by her niece and nephews, the Pears. The imposing building later became Peerless Dry Cleaners in 1943 and was purchased by the present owner Mr. Stevenson in 1980.
