Information

A Federation era timber house was built circa 1913 on an acre of land belonging to Alfred James Robinson, who was a farmer and fire insurance agent. The construction of the house was financed by the Workers’ Dwelling Board. In 1974, the property was purchased by Ernest and Isabella Leidke, also a farming family. The Leidkes subdivided the land from the 1950s, retaining the house on 35 perches (890 m²) until after the death of Ernest Liedke in 1975.
