Information

A Maternity Home run by the Salvation Army that was important as the site where some of the last remnants from the Aboriginal Camps of Albion, Breakfast Creek and Hamilton resided in the 1910s. This included ancestors of several current SE Queensland Aboriginal families, and Des Donley – notable Aboriginal unionist and Communist (born 1914 here).
