Information

Main traditional Camp of Moorooka-Rocklea area, associated with the Rocky Water Holes. This was a large and important Camp, its high position during floods making it a refuge point. It seems to have been used into the 1880s. In the 1870s, many Aboriginal people from here worked in bark-stripping.
