Information

The South Brisbane Railway Station opened on 21 December 1891 as a line from Boggo Junction (now Dutton Park Station) to Melbourne Street as a terminus. It was therefore the second railway line that arrived to South Brisbane – the first in 1884 as the line from South Brisbane Junction (Corinda) via Boggo Junction to the Stanley Street docks area.
