Information

This Catholic church was built, during the 1920’s Boom, to replace the earlier (1913) timber church. It was consecrtaed by Archbishop Duhig (‘The Builder’) in 1925. This hilltop, Romanesque style, brick church is a local landmark. The 1914 brick presbytery was retained and the old church became a hall. This precinct dominates the major intersection of Old Cleveland, Chatsworth and Upper Cornwall Roads.
