Information

The Old Printery & Government Printing Office . was built in 1874, Architect: J.J. Clark (Printery); 1910, Architect: E.E. Smith (Office). The colonial government Old Printery was built along William Street. It is now the Queensland Public Services Club, accessed via Stephens Lane. The state government’ Printing Office was built along George Street. It’s facade features ‘Printing Devils’ gargoyles. In the 1990s, became the Queensland ‘Sciencecentre’.
