Information

This two-storied, rendered-masonary commercial building was constructed during the 1920s building boom, for dentist and pharmacist Thomas Thomason, after who the building was named. Its unusual traiangular shape was designed to fit the sharp contours of the busy Logan and Old Cleveland Road intersection. This was a major southside intersection. Thomason wanted to add to his family’s longtime, local (Stones Corner, South Brisbane) business intersts by doninating this corner, with his modern, dual-shopfronts, office and retail building. Thomason Building is now a Stones Corner landmark.
