Turrawan Private Hospital was built in 1932. Architect: E. P. Trewern. In 1960, a neighbouring, 1920s, timber house was bought for the nurses’ quarters. The site was sold to Clayfield Girls College in 2003 and is now used as a residential college for boarders.
