Information

Aboriginal camp site  on the hillside  at the rear of the Rowe’s home on Waterworks Rd The Gap. Smoky fires would be lit near Enoggera Creek to keep mosquitoes at bay on the hillside. The area provided a favoured swimming and fishing hole in Enoggera creek, and was still in use during the 1940s-1950s.
