Built 1923. Wynnum’s second post office, this masonary premises was opened by the Commonwealth’s Postmaster General’s Department (P.M.G.) in 1923. It is a standard P.M.G. interwar design featuring twin open porches. The right-hand porch has been altered, while the interior has been revamped to suit the changing postal services. In 1975, the P.M.G. was split into two businesses of Telecom (now Telstra) and Australia Post.
