Information

Built 1948-49. In 1915, an Adventist conference was held in tents at Wynnum. Wynnum Adventist meetings were then held in a home, a picture theatre, Manly R.S.L. Hall and the Anglican Hall. In 1947, a corner site was bought (£50). The Mitchelton Methodist Hall was purchased, transported to this site and reroofed in 1948. This Adventist Church was dedicated on 4 September 1949 and opened by the local state politician Bill Gunn. A hall was added in 1951. There were extensions or renovations in 1958 and 1962.
