Information

Aboriginal camp and waterhole on Bulimba Creek near Logan Road (old pathway) – probably large game hunting camp. The camp residents cut and sold bark sheets to settlers, and sold fish along Logan Road to travellers. In 1865, Bakers’ Hotel (later Glen Hotel) was established near the waterhole and camp. It is unclear how long after this the camp persisted, but probably until the 1870s-1880.
