Richard Gailey was an architect and developer (purchased ‘greater Lang Farm’ 1870s). He built his imposing a mansion as a show home. The estate passed to Bank of New South Wales in the mid-1890s and was c purchased by Dr Ernest Sandford Jackson, the one-time Superintendent of Brisbane General and proprietor of the St Helens private Hospital, in 1901.
