Colin Clark worked as the Director of the Bureau of Industry, as the government statistician and a financial adviser to the Treasury.
Impact On Brisbane Society
Colin Clark is probably Queensland’s most distinguished economist to date. For recognition of his life’s work, Clark had received honorary degrees from Tilbury University, the University of Milan, Monash University and the University of Queensland. Outside of Queensland, Clark had worked as the Director of the Institute for Research in Agricultural Economics, University of Oxford, and served on Pope Paul VI’s Commission on Population and Birth Control.
