B.A.F.S. Building was built in 1915-16, Architect: L.L. Powell. Brisbane Associated Friendly Societies (B.A.F.S.) opened its first members’ dispensary here in 1916, Three years later, it employed architects Chambers & Powell to create ‘The Valley’ dispensary.
