Information
Church of the Good Shepherd, Brookfield’s Anglican church, was formally opened in 1893. It is situated on a rise overlooking the Brookfield Showground, at 615 Boscombe Road. The simple timber building was lined in the 1950s and the building painted. The community has struggled at times to maintain the buildings, which, with the Uniting Church, are now considered valuable examples of Queensland church building in the 1880s and 1890s.
