Information
In 1902, a Holland Street school began through the generous co-operation of the then Superior of the Mercy Sisters, Mother M Patrick. The Sisters of Mercy lived at Goldicott in nearby Grove Street. In 1916 the Jesuit order arrived in Toowong and in 1930 the ‘Convent School’ was moved from Holland Street to Kensington Terrace when it was renamed the Parish School of St Ignatius Loyola.
