Information
At a cost of 2.7 million the Sunnybank Private Hospital opened on 28 February 1979 with 96 beds, three operating theatres, and a staff of 40. The maternity unit at Sunnybank Private Hospital was opened in July 1983 by then Senator Flo Bjelke-Petersen. In 1999 the Sunnybank Private Hospital’s emergency centre was closed down, two years after opening.
