Information
Built 1912. The local Baptist Church commumity held its services in the Kanawah Divisional Board/Wynnum Shire Clerks Cottage in Tingal Road, before fundraising enabled this church to be built in Edith Street. A standard, small church building, it was extended in four stages, as the congregation grew. By 1930, a larger site was required so this building was cut in two and relocated to Baptist property in Bay Terrace. As a result, the church was redesigned by creating a new front section and entrance for this church.
