Information
The Church was constructed of brick in 1930, as a church hall to serve the needs of the Yeronga and Moorooka Presbyterian communities. The builder was H. Taylor. Its main use though was as the Yeerongpilly Presbyterian Church and, as such, it was extended in the 1950s. After the amalgamation of the Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregation Churches in 1977, it became a Uniting Church and so was renamed St Giles Uniting Church in 1980. Diminishing congregations saw St Giles close and the building and land sold in 1980. This 85+ year old building is now a private home.
