Brisbane Freethought Association: Founded in 1884, this association is a cornerstone of the history of agnosticism and secular humanism in Brisbane. It provided a platform for marketplace dialogue and logic, resisting “theological capture” and fostering a pluralistic “dialogue of myths” in the public domain.
