Information

The track led to McCullough’s long, low slab dwelling with its garden and fruit trees. It crossed Main’s track, the pathway to the Main family’s farm, but was already the main route through the township. The vine, Bignonia venusta, had abundantly covered a tall, dead tree at the back of McCullough’s property, becoming a well-recognised land mark for the local community.
