Information

Mt Gravatt was associated with a Dreaming story about a “dragon” (presumably a reptile or Rainbow Serpent) and was important as a site for echidna. Here and Holland Park once had several springs and the hills and cliffs of Holland Park and Mt Gravatt were used for Aboriginal Burials, but none remain. In 2010, Brisbane’s very first Indigenous-run café opened here, and operated for a number of years.
