Built 1928. It was constructed in a strategic spot, just off Oxley Rd, in California Rd. The growing Church of England community in Oxley required a church nearer than Sherwood. The church opened with the building fund still in debt. Church groups such as the Girls Friendly Society held fetes and choral concerts, making particular use of the new building. Rev. W. Barrett was the first rector.
